The Texas High Speed Rail project is a modern 200 miles per hour train connecting Dallas and Houston in less than 90 minutes - with trains departing every 30 minutes in both directions. Construction is expected to begin later this year. The 240-mile project could take up to five years to build, and cost approximately $12 billion.
